If you had to use one word to describe my adult life, it would probably be "caregiver". I was a single mom for most of my daughter's childhood, my darling mother lived the last seven years of her life mostly in my home, I was instrumental in the care of my beloved aunt, and I am still the legal guardian for my older brother, who is in a nursing home. If anyone knows the need for Long Term Care planning, it would be me - been there, done that, got the T-shirt! My passion is helping people plan for the future and avoid the "crisis management" that the failure to plan can cause.
